Book Publicity Services does not specialize in particular genres of books. We have successfully promoted both fiction and nonfiction books, including children’s, mystery, erotica, business, religious, young adult, middle grade, self-help, parenting, relationships, health/wellness, memoirs, thrillers, historical, romance, paranormal, food, lifestyle, and more.

Media Exposure

To get media exposure, we will pitch your book to all types of media outlets: newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, websites, and blogs. A pitch is an email that is sent to the media (journalists, producers, reporters, bloggers, radio show hosts, etc) to promote your book. It usually includes a short synopsis of your book, cover image, background on you as the author, and the opportunity to review your book, interview you, publish an excerpt, host a giveaway, or receive a guest post.

Book Publicity Services has an extensive database with thousands of media contacts in a broad range of subject areas, including: art, entertainment, business, finance, education, fashion, beauty, food, politics, health, real estate, religion, sexuality, self-help, family, science, sports, technology, travel, and more. We have relationships with the most powerful news outlets like USA Today, Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and CNN, as well as bloggers and local newspapers nationwide.

We will pitch your book to the media contacts that are the best fit to reach your target audience. You will be notified of all contacts that express interest in your book, and we will coordinate all press placements. Media coverage includes book reviews, giveaways, spotlights, excerpts, feature articles, interviews, and other types of press placements to promote your book.

Press Release Writing & Distribution

Press releases provide the media with the information they need to write a news story. A press release can announce a newsworthy event such as a book signing, book reading, new book release, blog tour, celebrity endorsements, sponsorships, price changes, etc. We will write and distribute 1 search engine optimized (SEO) press release per month to promote your book. A press release can help generate media coverage, increase traffic to your website, improve your ranking in search engines, and attract new customers. For maximum exposure, we will distribute your press release to national television, radio, print and online media outlets, search engines (Google, Yahoo!, Bing, etc.), all major online news sites (Yahoo! News, ABC News, Star Tribune, Newsday, CNN, etc), and post it on top press release distribution sites (SBWire, 24-7PressRelease, OnlinePRNews, etc). Our press releases typically get posted on 200+ news sites, which will help increase your online visibility significantly.

Social Media

We will promote your book on social networking sites such as Facebook, GoodReads, Shelfari, Amazon, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc. We will frequently post on social media sites in order to get the word out about your book, increase your online presence, and increase book sales.

Website Development

Book Speaking Tours

For the best results, your book publicity campaign should be a minimum of 4 months.
The amount of press placements each of our clients gets varies, some may get 5 press placements in a month, and others may get 30. There are many factors that affect media coverage results – newsworthiness, the size of the target market, the length of the PR campaign, the amount of time and effort the client is willing to put into answering media questions or doing interviews, the amount of media contacts pitched, and more.

At Book Publicity Services we will get the media attention you need to increase awareness and sell more books. Media coverage includes radio interviews, articles in newspapers and magazines, television interviews, guest blog posts, book reviews and interviews on websites, and other press placements. We have an extensive database with thousands of contacts, from editors to bloggers, at all types of media outlets in a broad range of subject areas, including: art, entertainment, business, finance, education, fashion, beauty, food, politics, health, real estate, religion, sexuality, self-help, family, science, sports, technology, travel, and more. We have relationships with the most powerful news outlets like USA Today, Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and CNN, as well as bloggers and local newspapers nationwide. We will pitch your book to the websites, blogs, magazines, newspapers, television and radio shows that are the best fit to reach your target audience, such as: http://bookpublicityservices.com/media-reach/

We will let you know who has requested a copy of your book to review, what format (ebook or paperback) they would like to review, and where to send the book (email address or mailing address). It is your responsibility to send out the review copies in a timely manner.
When you mail your book to reviewers, you can either mail it by itself, or include any (or all) of the following:
- a thank you card
- your business card
- your signature on the book
- your press release from Book PR Services
- the cover letter provided by your publicist at Book Publicity Services
Fill out the Get Started form and a publicist at Book Publicity Services will be in touch to discuss your book publicity campaign.
